We know that many of you can agree that the safety of our residents and the children in the community is, and always should be, our top priority. It is with this in mind that we have to inform all residents of the speeding fines and parking violations that will be strictly enforced moving forward.
The speeding on our neighborhood streets has gone unchecked for quite some time and, unfortunately, has become dangerous. With the help of residents, we have been able to identify residents and guests who continuously drive well over the posted speed limit of 12 mph and fail to stop at the stop signs.
Effective immediately, we will begin fining home owners with the exact same dollar fines that we have used in the past when residents did not clean up after their pets.
The fines will charged to the offender’s River Falls account as follows:
- The first offense : $100 fine
- The second offense : $150 fine
- The 3rd offense: $200 fine
Guests of residents will not be excluded from these fines. Any guest who fails to follow the speed and street rules in our neighborhood will prompt fines being levied against the homeowner they are visiting. Please ask your guests to drive safely in our community.
